Hypnos is also compliant with ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme) which is a structured programme of energy audits designed to lower carbon emissions by identifying energy efficiency and reduction measures. Compliance with ESOS is another illustration of Hypnos' commitment to the environment and to carbon reduction.

Our beds are made from the finest natural and sustainable materials, including wool, hair, cashmere and silk, which provide the very best sleep systems for regulating body temperature. Indeed as an active bed supplier to the Royal palaces and residences, Hypnos continues to support the Royal Family and the Royal Warrant Holders Association across a range of projects, and immediately responded to Prince Charles’s call to promote The Campaign for Wool which supports British sheep farmers, and the natural benefits of wool, by including wool in its mattresses.

Hypnos' workshops have achieved FSC^® and PEFC forestry certification, plus have passed the Sedex ethical trading audit.

With a clear focus on sustainable design, all Hypnos beds are 100% recyclable ensuring Hypnos beds never need to go to landfill. Indeed Hypnos has also developed a disposal and recycling service for your old beds and mattresses. Ask your retailer about this innovative service which involves the de-construction of your old beds and mattresses, creating recycled raw materials for re-use in other industries.
